Mobile car and van jump-start help from £70. In many cities an available technician can arrive from around 25 minutes, with your real price and ETA confirmed before dispatch.
Trusted help when your car battery lets you down
If your car will not start at home, work, a supermarket, train station, service area or safe roadside position, Baba Jump Start can check mobile assistance near you. Send the vehicle make and model, symptoms and your current location for a clear quotation.
Our technicians use professional regulated battery boosters and manufacturer-approved connection points where available. We help with common 12V car and light-van batteries, assess compatible 24V commercial vehicles, and only assist the low-voltage auxiliary battery on suitable hybrid or electric vehicles.
How mobile jump-start assistance works
- 01
Tell us what the vehicle is doing
Send the make, model, fuel type and what happens when you turn the key—clicking, dim lights, slow cranking or no response.
- 02
Share your exact location
Use a postcode, car-park level, nearby landmark or live GPS pin so the technician can find the correct entrance without unnecessary delay.
- 03
Receive a checked quote and ETA
Prices start from £70. We check the real location and suitable availability before confirming the price and expected arrival time.
- 04
ECU-safe battery boost
Battery condition, polarity and approved jump points are checked before connection. If the fault is not battery-related, we explain the sensible next step.

Flat-battery questions answered
How much does a mobile jump start cost?
Prices start from £70. Your vehicle, exact location, access, distance and time can affect the final quotation, which is confirmed before dispatch.
How quickly can a technician arrive?
In many supported cities, ETA can be from around 25 minutes when a suitable technician is nearby. Traffic and existing jobs can affect arrival time.
Can jump starting damage an ECU?
Incorrect polarity or unsuitable equipment can cause damage. We use regulated equipment and approved jump points where available, but unsafe or visibly damaged batteries must not be boosted.
Will a jump start repair my battery?
No. A boost may start the engine, but it cannot repair a failed battery, alternator, starter motor, immobiliser or wiring fault.
Can you jump-start a van?
Many 12V vans can be assisted. Compatible 24V commercial requests are assessed first so the correct equipment and technician can be confirmed.
Can you help a hybrid or electric car?
Only the low-voltage auxiliary battery where the manufacturer permits it. We never work on a high-voltage traction battery.
